Martin Atkins is taking his new book Tour:Smart on the road, conducting guest lectures, seminars, and info session for bands and music business students all over the country.

The 600-page book, released in September of '07, contains chapters on everything from routing and geography, to drugs, merchandising, and how to get a better live sound... and in addition to deposing Martin's 30 years of experience as a touring musician, label owner, and tour manager, Tour:Smart also contains contributions from over 100 industry professionals: musicians, booking agents, managers, club owners, publicists, bus drivers, police officers, groupies, and more!
